Sproughton Tennis - On The Web

Welcome to the Sproughton Tennis Web-site.

We were formed in 1962 and now have 3 hard courts with 2 that are floodlit following a successful lottery grant in 2001.  Our 3rd court was resurfaced in 2002 and the 2 floodlit courts were resurfaced in 2007.

Despite being a small village club we have produced James Trotman, the former junior Wimbledon and junior Australia doubles champion and also boast Joan Hassell, a GB international for her age group within our ranks.

Our club caters for a wide range of standards from beginner upwards as well as all age ranges.

We have reasonable membership rates, no playing-in test and no restrictions on coloured clothing.

For the 2013 season we are offering half-price membership for all new members for the first year.

This applies across all categories.

We are always looking for new members and so with the summer season about to start and this fantastic offer what better time to join.  We have lots of teams both adult and junior and also provide junior coaching on Thursday afternoons through the summer term.

We were the first tennis club in Suffolk and one of the first in the UK to have a web site, going online on 1st April 1998 and have now reached our 10th major design
